GORDON Marian

Gordon.jpgMarian Gordon represents the US Department of State in activities affecting the development of international policy in several global fora, including CITEL, a part of the Organization of American States (OAS), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), UNESCO, and UN Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD).  She has also served as the State Department/Office of International Communication and Information Policy’s Director for Telecommunication and Information Standards.

Previously she served as Senior Attorney at the Federal Communications Commission, preceded by work as a Patent Examiner at the US Patent and Trade Office, and as Law Clerk to a Circuit Judge at the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, DC.   She holds degrees in electrical engineering and law.
