The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) together with International Electr​​otechnical Commission (IEC) ​and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) organized the IEC-ISO-ITU Joint Smart Cities Task Force (J-SCTF) Webinar on “How standards can help cities achieve and report on UN SDGs”. This webinar took place virtually on 15 July 2024 from 12h00-15h00 UTC / 14:00-17:00 CEST.

This webinar sheded lights on:

The objectives included but were not limited to: 

Participation in the webinar was open to all interested stakeholders including city representatives and city administrators, National Standards Bodies (NSBs), Members of IEC, ISO and ITU, domain experts and sector practitioners, ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates and Academic Institutions and to any individual from a country that was a member of ITU and who wishes to contribute to the work. This included individuals who were also members of international, regional and national organizations. Participation was free of charge.​​
