Session 1: Sustainable digital transformation and the role of ITU standards
This session focuses on the critical role played by telecommunications/ICT in aiding sustainable development and how it enables stakeholders to achieve the targets set in SDGs. In this front, the role played by ITU standards in making the new and emerging technologies sustainable will be dealt with. Encompassing all these, a session on how ITU-T Study Group 3, with its mandate of studying policy, economic and regulatory aspects of international telecommunication/ICT, will help in sustainable digital transformation is also planned.
