David Hunter is the Founder and CEO of Optimal - a team of AI researchers and horticultural experts creating superhuman autonomous agents to grow the world's food. Optimal is backed by some of the leading investors in Silicon Valley.
David was a member of the Machine Learning Lab at the University of Oxford and was previously head of Algorithmic Trading Product and Quantitative Strategies at Deutsche Bank, where his team were responsible for over 5% of the European stock market traded volume.
He has a first-class degree in Computer Science from the University of Oxford.
