The seminar’s content is organized as follows (for further details, please see on main
RRS web site):
- A pre-seminar web tutorial is available on this website (please see Tab:

ITU-R. A good understanding of these concepts is required to participate actively in the Seminar.
- The first part of the Seminar will cover spectrum management,
Master International Frequency Register (MIFR), RR,
World Radiocommunication Conference,
Radiocommunication Assembly and agenda of WRC-23. This also includes training on ICT tools for frequency notifications as well as information on BR and BDT spectrum management activities.
- During the following part, tutorials will be carried out on the use of these tools for notification procedures of terrestrial stations and space stations.
- RRS-21-Africa will conclude with a forum on: “Radiocommunications Trends: Opportunities and challenges for the Region”. Topics are indicated on the programme.
Languages
The lectures and discussions during RRS-21-Africa will be in English and French, with simultaneous interpretation (please note that some material such as presentations and software tools will be in English only and some other is pending for translation).
Format
The Seminar will follow an online format, with daily sessions from 1000 to 1315 (UTC + 2H); an e-mail with all instructions about the platform to be used and how to access it will be sent before the event.
The Seminar's documentation will be available on this page (please see Tab:
