A Joint Declaration regarding Strengthening Digital Transformation between Indonesia-ITU Concern Forum (IICF) and ITU was signed on 13 September 2023, by Eddy Setiawan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Indonesia-ITU Concern Forum (IICF) and Dr. Cosmas Luckyson Zavazava, Director of ITU’s Telecommunication Development Bureau.
The objectives of the Joint Declaration are as follow:
- To cooperate on the development of digital transformation related policies & regulations to enhance the implementation of policies on information and communication technology pertaining to infrastructure, network and applications of vital technologies.
- To promote information sharing, constructive dialogue and consultation on issues of common interest and concern.
- To collaborate in the context of organizing learning activities for the development and sharing of knowledge products and publications.
- To strengthen the meaningful participation of policymakers, practitioners, and communities in digital consultations and associated initiatives to promote digital development and inclusion.
- To cooperate in the area of digital transformation and inclusion.
