As a result of the project implementation, the telecommunications facility Zombar functions efficiently through receiving electric power in autonomous mode. This enables secure telecommunication in the rural area (Dzhizak district) of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Telecommunications equipment working at Zambar has capacity of 3 kW and voltage of 48 V consuming 5 kW with voltage of 220V, 50 Hz.
The hybrid solar-wind-diesel power plant provides electric power sufficient for normal functioning of the telecommunications equipment and work of the personnel.
The results of the operational testing of the hybrid power plant confirmed the correctness of the taken decisions. Based on these results, Uzbekistan specialists elaborate project of a broader use of the above sources of energy for power supply to telecommunications facilities in rural areas of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Hybrid solar-wind-diesel power plants are recommended for implementation not only on telecommunications facilities, but also in medical and educational facilities in remote settlements.
