ITU ​Regional Workshop for CIS and Asia-Pacific on Big Data and Cloud Computing (Tashkent, Uzbekistan, 19-20 June 2018)

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This Workshop was addressed to representatives of ministries, regulators, telecom operators, universities and general education institutions, telecommunication equipment manufacturers, research and development institutes, software developers and other interested stakeholders of the ITU Member States, Sector Members and Associates from CIS and Asia-Pacific regions. The Workshop was aimed at discussing the following questions:
    • Big Data: definition and use cases
    • Cloud computing technologies: standardization and applications
    • Organizational and technical tools for cybersecurity
    • Policy and regulatory considerations
