The roundtable is aimed at discussing the progress in the implementation of the CIS regional initiatives approved by the 2014 World Telecommunication Development Conference.
Special attention will be paid to CIS2, jointly implemented by the ITU and the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications (IET) under Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Iskhak Razzakov and with the support of UNESCO IITE, under which the Iygilik specialized training centre for persons with disabilities was opened on 22 October 2015, on the basis of the IET.
