Government Consultation Workshop

Welcome to our public sector consultation workshop on the national regulation of e-waste, designed for ministries and departments of the Government of Thailand. This is the first in a series of public and private sector consultations, implemented by the International Telecommunication Union with financial support from the Government of Australia.

Objectives

This consultation workshop will offer the opportunity to gather technical inputs from government stakeholders on the legal, administrative, and financial modalities of the management of e-waste in Thailand by:

  • Review the current regulatory environment for e-waste management.
  • Align ongoing initiatives and stakeholders for enhanced e-waste management.
  • Strengthen national coordination for multi-stakeholder recommendations.
  • Identify action areas and address challenges in implementing e-waste management.
  • Provide initial inputs for a technical proposal to support policymaking.

Invitation and Registration

  • Key stakeholders will be invited by formal invitation from the Pollution Control Department to participate in this workshop.
  • Join us to contribute your expertise and insights, helping shape a sustainable future for e-waste management in Thailand.
