ITU - MIIT High-Level Seminar 2023

​International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of the People's Republic of China have been jointly organizing annual events on ICT Policy and regulatory issues for around 20 years now. The event brings together senior level officials and management from within china and invited experts from outside to discuss and share knowledge around emerging ICT issues and challenges.

THEME & TARGET AUDIENCE

This year, 2023, the event is being planned in Shenzhen, China from 5 – 6 September 2023 with the theme “Building a Digital Future for All". The event would attempt to bring together senior officials from ITU member administrations, MIIT China, ITU, industry representatives and domain experts to discuss emerging topics on digital development. 

EVENT SCOPE

​The event is being planned as a physical event back to back with 2023 BRICS Forum on Future Networks Innovation and consists of several sessions spread over 2 days. 

  • Day 1 is planned as seminar where sessions would highlight the need of innovation and global cooperation on digital development, standardization and radio communication. 
  • Day 2 is designed as trainings to support participants in preparing for high-level document producing events/conferences organized by ITU. ​
