| Rury is a Project Officer at the ITU Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific and is managing the Australian projects and is responsible to promote Girls in ICT and EQUALS in the region. She is assigned at the ITU Area Office Jakarta and was joined at the ITU in handling International Girls in ICT Day 2020 as a Digital Inclusion Junior Officer with the team to promote Girls in ICT Day to close the gender digital divide as well as to empower girls and young women to take up studies in ICTs.
Prior to joining at the ITU, she was a public relations and business analyst in one of digital start-ups in Indonesia that focuses on rural area development and was a public relations analyst in a national oil and gas company. Rury was a news anchor in several national televisions from 2014 to 2017 and an MBA graduate from the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in 2016.
