The countries in Asia and the Pacific are experienced rapid digital transformation driven by broadband connectivity, adoption of digital strategies and implementation of digital applications. Digital transformation was changed the labour market in almost all sectors, including agriculture, education, environment, finance, health, commerce, transport, and tourism, among others.
This required countries to enable their citizens to benefit from the impact of digital transformation, based on the strategic direction of countries, through digital skills that could enable citizens to be competitive and employable in the global society and economy.
