Details on sponsorship opportunities for side and social events
Note: The sponsorship opportunities for side and social events have concluded, and the window for expressing interest is now closed.
The availability of sponsorship packages is limited. Consequently, any expression of interest for such packages shall be given an equal consideration by ITU and shall be processed on a “first-come, first-served" basis.
Expressions of interest for Sponsorship Packages for side/social events should be submitted by e-mail to
christine.sund@itu.int/ itu-ro-africa@itu.int until 15 September. Sponsors could also express interest in several sponsorship options.

Benefits for sponsors:
- Your organization/entity name recognized on announcements of your sponsored coffee/tea break social event
- Your organization/entity name and organization/entity logo at the “coffee/tea space" during your sponsored coffee/tea break social event
- Opportunity to share promotional material and giveaways with organization/entity logo during your sponsored coffee/tea break social event
Sponsorship Package: USD 2,500
Note:
The sponsorship package includes the aforementioned visibility benefits as well as the cost of the drinks and some pastries.
Lunch break Side Event sponsorship
- Your organization/entity name recognized on the announcement of your sponsored lunch break side event
- Your organization/entity name and organization/entity logo at the entrance of the venue of your sponsored lunch break side event
- Your organization/entity name and organization/entity logo on the stage of the side event panel/interactive discussion.
- Opportunity to host a lunch break side event panel discussion
- Opportunity to share promotional material and giveaways with organization/entity logo during your sponsored lunch
- Your organization/entity name recognized, without logo, on a dedicated webpage for RDF-AFR side events.
- Recognition on social media as a sponsor for social/side event, with organization/entity name and organization/entity logo. One post will be provided on the ITU Regional Office for Africa account, through X and amplified through LinkedIn platforms. This one social media post will be posted within 5 working days of the closing of the RDF.
