The Empowering Women Leaders Mentorship Programme is part of the NoW in ITU-D initiative, and a component of the project “Building of Network of Women Leaders” aiming to increase women’s participation and leadership in the ICT sector, particularly leading up to and during the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-25). The program will promote knowledge exchange, professional growth, and leadership development, creating a framework to support and encourage more women to take on active decision-making roles in the digital field.
FORMAT
Participants will join as Mentors and /or Mentees in the four-month programme (February to May 2025), which comprises four mentoring sessions:

| 30 minutes | Introductory Meeting & Goal Setting | Mentors and Mentees set goals for the program and discuss strategies for strengthening their participation and contribution leading up to WTDC-25. |
March 2025
| Session 2
| 60 minutes | Leadership in Telecommunications | Focuses on understanding leadership styles and developing leadership skills that are essential for participating in WTDC-25 decision-making processes. |
April 2025
| Session 3
| 60 minutes | Navigating Challenges & Building Networks | This session helps mentees navigate challenges specific to women in telecommunications, while building networking strategies to enhance their presence at WTDC-25. |
May 2025
| Session 4
| 60 minutes | Final Reflection & Future Planning | A wrap-up session to review the progress made, discuss future goals, and prepare for active participation at WTDC-25 and beyond in their career.
