| YANG MULIA DATO SERI PADUKA AWANG HAJI SUFIAN BIN HAJI SABTUDEPUTY MINISTER AT PRIME MINISTER'S OFFICE, SECURITY AND LAWBrunei Darussalam
Dato Seri Paduka Haji Sufian started his career as a Staff Officer at the Internal Security Department (ISD) in 1994. Dato Seri Paduka Haji Sufian is married to Datin Suriati binti Haji Abangtor (Operations) before being transferred and promoted as the Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in 2017. On 25 July 2020, Dato Seri Paduka Haji Sufian was transferred back to ISD and promoted as its Director. He was subsequently appointed as Permanent Secretary (Security, Enforcement and Law) Prime Minister’s Office on 31 July 2021 in addition to his portfolio as the Director of ISD.
By command of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Dato Seri Paduka Haji Sufian was appointed as Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office on 7 June 2022. He also holds a concurrent appointment as the Director of ISD.
On 15 July 2022, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam had consented to bestow the Most Honourable Order of Seri Paduka Mahkota Brunei First Class (S.P.M.B.) to Dato Seri Paduka Haji Sufian. His other state honours and decorations include the Most Honourable Order of Seri Paduka Mahkota Brunei Second Class (D.P.M.B.) in 2021, the Most Blessed Order of Setia Negara Brunei Fourth Class (P.S.B.), the Meritorious Service Medal (P.J.K.) and the Excellent Service Medal (P.I.K.B.).
Dato Seri Paduka Haji Sufian is a graduate of the University of Brunei Darussalam and completed his postgraduate education at the University of Keele in the United Kingdom. He also attended the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore as part of the Executive Development Programme for Senior Government Officers (EDPSGO). Dato Seri Paduka Haji Sufian is married to Datin Suriati binti Haji Abang and is blessed with three children.

Raj Kumar Maharjan, Director, National Cyber Security Center, Ministry of of Communication and Information Technology, Nepal He works in the recently established National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) under the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MoCIT), Government of Nepal. He has over a decade of experience of working in government service. His IT expertise spans in various departments like Department of Transport Management, Department of Land Management and Archive, Public Procurement Monitoring Office, Election Commission before his current role at NCSC. He holds master’s degree in computer engineering from Pokhara University and master’s degree in public administration from Tribhuvan University. After Joining MoCIT in 2023, he has contributed to prepare National Cyber Security Policy,2023 and to establish NCSC. He has actively involved in drafting IT and Cyber Security Bill. He had an experience of conducting national Cyber Drill and Cyber Hygiene programs in various regions of country. His role as a member secretary of Nepal Information Technology Emergency Team (NITERT) has played a vital role for the coordination with different governmental agencies to work together for the achievement of safe and resilient cyber space of Nepal.

Ampuan Shazwi currently serves as Senior Operations Office at Cyber Security Brunei since its establishment in August 2020. Prior to this, he served as Special Duties Officer under the National Security Committee Secretariat, Prime Minister’s Office. Ampuan Shazwi’s background includes 13 years of experience in the field on national security with emphasis on cyber security, border security, aviation security, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) security and matters related to law enforcement. In this role, Ampuan Shazwi acts as a linkage and coordinator between CSB with regional and international cyber security initiatives notably with ASEAN related initiatives. His area of focus includes cybersecurity confidence building measures, capacity building efforts and national coordination efforts related to cyber security.

| Shamsul Bahri bin Haji Kamis
With the background in Electronics and Communications, Shamsul Bahri had been actively involved in IT, IT Security and Cyber Security for 30 years. He was also responsible in setting up and operationalising a government outfit responsible for IT Security needs and requirements of Brunei Darussalam’s e-Government initiatives in 2003. This outfit later grew to serve the core services of the country’s National Cyber Security Agency, Cyber Security Brunei (CSB), which was formed in August 2020. CSB is now responsible for both the operational and strategic aspects of cybersecurity for both the government and the country.

| Haji Mas Zuraime bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Chief Operation Officer Haji Mas Zuraime bin Haji Abdul Hamid serves as the Head of the Brunei Computer Emergency Response Team (BruCERT), the national agency responsible for managing IT-related security incidents across Brunei Darussalam. He also leads the Cyber Watch Centre and holds the position of Deputy Chief Operating Officer at ITPSS Sdn Bhd. With a distinguished career in cybersecurity, Haji Mas Zuraime has played a key role in numerous national information security initiatives. His expertise has been recognized through invitations to speak at various esteemed events, including the Civil Service Institute and the World Telecommunication & Information Society Day in 2009. Haji Mas Zuraime holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Communication Engineering from the University of Liverpool, UK. His professional qualifications include certifications such as SANS Institute GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), ISO27001 Lead Implementer, and CompTIA Network+.
In recognition of his contributions to ASEAN-Japan cooperation, he was awarded the prestigious Awards of Merit by the Japanese government.

| Georgina Kiele Georgina Kiele is the Executive Manager for Cyber Security and Digital Government Standards at the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
