REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR ON-SITE PARTICIPATION

Who can participate

The International Submarine Cable Resilience Summit is open to the following participants:

  • The members and designated focal points of the International Advisory Body for Submarine Cable Resilience
  • The ITU membership categories as follows: Member States, Sector Members, Resolution 99, Associates, Academia, Regional and Interregional organizations.
  • The United Nations and its specialized agencies, the IAEA, the WTO, the OPCW and the CTBTO
  • The members of the International Cable Protection Committee (ICPC)
  • Other intergovernmental organizations, as well as special guests, invited by the ITU Secretary-General, ICPC or the host country
  • The secretariat from the ITU, ICPC and from the Government of Nigeria

NOTE:

  • Only applications of nationals of Member States recognized by the ITU or the United Nations (see the list here), or under Resolution 99, may be accepted.
  • The ITU reserves the right to request further information if it deems necessary (for example if the link between a participant and the entity he/she represents does not seem obvious and actual).

How to register

  1. Official members of the International Advisory Body for Submarine Cable Resilience and high-level guests, invited by the ITU Secretary-General, ICPC or the host country, will be registered by the ITU registration service

Other participants

  1. ITU membership. ICPC membership, and other invited participants (please see “Who can participate”) who already are in possession of an ITU User account can directly complete the registration form here. To check if you are an ITU member, please visit this page.

ITU membership, ICPC membership and other invited participants (please see “Who can participate”) who are not yet in possession of an ITU User account must first create the user account here (see user guide here, from step 1 to 4 for how to create an ITU User account) and then complete the registration form here.

For visa related questions, please refer to the Practical Information document available on this page. Kindly be informed that upon completing your registration, you will receive an e-confirmation of registration, which contains a unique and verifiable ID number.

This e-confirmation will have to be uploaded on the visa application, along with the host country invitation letter, for those who require a visa (see Practical Information document on the event website). Please note that host country visa invitation letters will be processed and emailed to your registered email address within three business days of completing your registration.
