Title of Presentation: The connected car: Opportunities and technologies

Marc Girardot has over 13 years of professional experience working for leading corporations across the globe (US, France, South America, UK ...). His expertise and experience are multi-disciplinary ranging from Sales and Finance to Strategy and Marketing. 

At Cisco, Marc is part the Internet Business Solutions Group and has responsibility for EMEA over the Automotive sector. His role is to provide strategic assistance to large global companies and organizations looking to capitalize on the transformative power of the Internet. In France, Marc oversees such accounts as Renault-Nissan, PSA Peugeot-Citro�n, Faurecia, Fiat, Iveco � helping these companies understand the full-reach of technology-enabled transformation and supporting their governance and change management efforts.

Prior to his IBSG role, Marc was Senior Associate at BoozlAllen & Hamilton�s Communications Media and Technology Group. Marc holds also extensive experience in the Oil & Gas world where he consulted for BP, Exxon and Elf. In 2000, his team was awarded the BoozlAllen Professional Excellence Award for its achievement at BP Amoco. Prior to his consulting years, Marc held a variety of management positions at industrial-gas leader, L�Air Liquide, in Sales, in Management Accounting, in Audit as well as in Strategy. 

Marc holds an MBA from INSEAD, as well as Master�s Degree in Business and Economics from ESSEC. Marc has extensive international experience, holds French and American citizenship, and is a father of three boys.
