Summary:
|
In CPN, the BNG is able to collect the network resources and computing power resources information, and then conducts the scheduling policy of computing power. The BNG perceives computing resource information and network resource information, notifies the current computing resource status as routing information to the network, and routes computing task to appropriate computing nodes to achieve optimal overall system and user experience.
Interoperability testing of the BNG in CPN is to verify that it can interact with CPN service layer, CPN orchestration and management layer to ensure the interoperability of gateway in CPN, guideline for general testing requirements, objective and test cases are needed.
There are three target testing areas:
BNG - CPN service layer;
BNG - CPN orchestration and management layer;
BNG control plane - BNG user plane.
To conclude, the proposed new work item focus on interoperability testing of the BNG in CPN according to the framework, functional entities and reference points defined in ITU-T Y.2501 and ITU-T Q.4141.
