- Terms of reference: Terms of reference: Under the auspices of ITU-T SG13, the CG-AINN will carry out the preliminary analysis to help SG13 effectively make decision on appropriate issues and work method in the next SG13 meeting. The objectives are to discuss the potential ToR (Terms of Reference), update the supporting materials, which may include updated gap analysis, points of views, for a focus group on Artificial Intelligence Native for Telecommunication Networks.
Expected outcome:
a) Collate and update various supporting materials and analysis on various technical approaches, relevant to make a decision on the FG on Artificial Intelligence
Native for Telecommunication Networks;
b) Discuss the Terms of Reference of a new focus group for for Artificial Intelligence Native for Telecommunication Networks as reviewed during the adhoc meetings
of SG13;
c) Update the rationale and objective of FG Artificial Intelligence Native for Telecommunication Networks.

Ad-hoc group on next study period (NSP) preparation for WTSA-24 was set up by SG13 on 14 November 2022. Deatails could be found in TD62-R1/PLEN.- Terms of reference: The establishment of an ad-hoc group on next study period (NSP) preparation for WTSA-24 is proposed for exchanging and sharing opinions and preparing inputs to TSAG. Detailed revised the text of Resolution 2 including ToRs of Questions will be elaborated more through the proposed NSP ad-hoc.
Expected outcome:– Updated SG13 mandate;
– Updated SG13 leading roles;
– Organizational change of SG13 if necessary;
– Updated ToRs of Questions.

“optimization" terms where applicable. Furthermore, if other already defined terms are used, references will be provided.

Drafting group on [Questions F&G]
(Concluded its activities in December 2020 by reaching end of it lifetime)
Drafting group on [Questions F&G], TD292/PLEN, was set up by SG13 on 31 July 2020 (SG13 July 2020 virtual meeting). Led by the SG13 chairman it will bridge the gap between July and December 2020 SG13 activities on Questions F and G texts, if needed.

Correspondence group with SG2
(Concluded its activities in August 2020 as the group reached the end of its lifetime)
Correspondence group with SG2 (WP2/2) to tackle network management issues for 5G has been established by SG2 (at July 2018 meeting) at SG13 closing plenary. Grown from the successful JRG-CCM experience of the past, it introduces more freedom in coordination efforts. No common text is envisaged to be delivered, only applying the SG2 expertise to review SG13 network management work and vice a versa. For more details, please check TD123/PLEN.

Correspondence group between Q.14/13 and ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 6 [FN-COLLABORATION]
(Concluded; it was set up in January 2011)
With the agreement of the convener of the Correspondence Group on Future Networks from the ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 6 side, Shin-Gak Kang, SG13 agreed to formally close the named correspondence group as there has been no activity of this group since 2012.

Correspondence group on trust in ICT (led by Q16/13) [CG-Trust]
Correspondence group on Trust (CG-Trust), according to the extended mandate given to it at the December 2015 SG13 meeting, accomplished its work and delivered the technical report "Trust provisioning for future ICT infrastructures and services" that was agreed by the SG13 for publication. The correspondence group was closed on 29 April 2016 as accomplishing its mandate, leaving the further standardization efforts to be performed in SG13, Q16/13. CG final report to its parent SG may be found in TD 268 (PLEN/13).
