This recommendation gives the requirements for Home Network equipment and installations in customer premises. It covers the classification of interfaces, resistibility of equipment, impact of installation practices, installation of SPDs and a risk assessment of equipment damage according to [IEC 62305-2]. The risk assessment of user injury will be covered by a separate recommendation.
