As the enterprises use more and more geographically distributed cloud services, the demand for interconnection among different data centers is increasing. Network operators develop Software-Defined Data Center Interconnection (SD-DCI) services to meet customized demands for interconnection among multiple data centers. The Recommendation ITU-T Q.3742 specifies the signalling requirements and data models for SD-DCI service.
