|
35 years of experience in various positions in the national
spectrum management and radio regulatory authority. Made
valuable contribution in formulation and implementation of
national policies as related to telecommunications,
broadcasting, information technology and satellite
communication technology and entry of private sector in
these fields as well as the challenges posed by exponential
growth of mobile services in the country. The activities
included:

RF spectrum engineering and
management functions besides radio regulatory functions;

National and international
policies concerning various radiocommunication matters
as related to all types of satellite and terrestrial
based radio-communication services;

spectrum & orbit coordination, spectrum licensing &
radio monitoring including system design and development
of automated spectrum management and monitoring
facilities;

Pacific Telecommunity (APT) in the capacity of `Indian
