After the introduction of Hong Kong Trust Mark in 2016 and being nominated as the finalist of WSIS Prize 2017 of Cat 6, Hong Kong Federation of E-Commerce (HKFEC) has taken an active role to promote a trust eCommerce environment between the East and the West. Hong Kong Trust Mark has becoming part of Global eCommerce Trust Mark and bring Safe Shop, a trusted eCommerce platform operated by eCommerce Foundation into Asia. Through the translation of Safe Shop in Chinese, the platform was being launched in Hong Kong and China together with the China Guangdong Electronic Commerce Association (GDECA) in Guangzhou on 21 Dec 2017. This made a remarkable milestone for moving a big step into a healthy trusted eCommerce ecosystem between China and the western world.
