Description *
In support to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs vision, mission and values, MOFA believes in the importance of developing advanced information security program to encounter the challenges of the digital age—advancing through adopting secure and reliable Information and Communication technology (ICT) and consider it as one of its strategic objectives. In addition, MOFA believes in the importance of the information as a strategic asset that is essential to its core mission and objectives, in which its security is a critical part to MOFA that is under potential and increasing threats. MOFA has a duty to protect its information and information systems and to ensure that it can defend against any risk and cyber-attack. Accordingly, MOFA has initiated Information security awareness project, which is an ongoing process of learning that is meaningful to recipients, and delivers measurable benefits to MOFA from lasting behavioral change. It provides the greatest return on investment, and has the greatest positive impact on MOFA’s security. Information security awareness project covers all MOFA employees across the world, including MOFA Head quarter, MOFA branches in Saudi Arabia and 192+ Saudi diplomatic missions all around the world. In addition, it delivered in a way that fits the overall culture of MOFA and has the most impact to personnel.
