Biocompatibility Platform for Protein Detection in Latex Glove
Description *
Malaysia is the world largest latex glove manufacturers. To ensure quality of glove which lead to latex sensitization, skin allergy reactions and others, High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) test is applied which need 6 to 8 hours to complete the test. To reduce the set-up cost and time for reading protein concentration, we have designed Biocompatibility Platform for Protein Detection to enhance efficiency of sampling through automated chemical test with image acquisition and image processing. Overall, this innovation has reduced time taken to 30 minutes, 2 filed patents, several copyrights, journal and conference papers accepted, national and international awards.
