Description *
Small producers are vulnerable to price volatility and limited access to information. Through up-to-date information services, their revenues increases. Nkalo provides information to all the producers of a sector, ensuring fair trade throughout the value chain with ready access to comprehensive information. It integrates also trainings on specific knowledge on agro-market and advices adapted to different value-chain actors (from farm to fork). In Ivory Coast and Mali broadcasted information is in partnership with Orange mobile operator through push SMS, USSD and call center, with more than 100 000 clients.
