The United Arab Emirates has been an ardent supporter in the field of International Space collaboration and Regional among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Arab countries. These International & Regional collaboration initiatives have helped UAE to gain international recognition in the last decade in the space arena. These collaborations goes beyond the steering of policy matters and chairing conferences and meetings, the UAE has had the honour of developing high national building capacity space programs by the successful partnership with potential and leading Administrations in the space sector.Furthermore, UAE has assisted the international space capacity building efforts of International Specialized Space Organization like United Nation Office of space Affairs, the UAE in a very short space of time has successfully partnered and build strong ties with more than 25 potential Global Members and International and Regional Organizations to find and set up regional capacity building initiatives in the Region.

A successful sustainable development agenda requires partnerships between governments, the private sector and civil society. These inclusive partnerships built upon principles and values, a shared vision, and shared goals that place people and the planet at the center, are needed at the global, regional, national and local level.Urgent action is needed to mobilize, redirect and unlock the transformative power of trillions of dollars of private resources to deliver on sustainable development objectives. Long-term investments, including foreign direct investment, are needed in critical sectors, especially in developing countries. These include sustainable energy, infrastructure and transport, information and communications technologies as well as space industry. The public sector will need to set a clear direction. Review and monitoring frameworks, regulations and incentive structures that enable such investments must be retooled to attract investments and reinforce sustainable development. National oversight mechanisms such as supreme audit institutions and oversight functions by legislatures should be strengthened.
Part of the UN 2030 Agenda, the Sustainable Development Goals identify 17 objectives for improving human quality of life and ensuring environmental protection, including no poverty, zero hunger, quality education and climate action. The benefits of space exploration and utilization are perhaps more wide-reaching than any other sector or industry, and our collective efforts in space are already responsible for introducing life-changing and indeed life-saving technologies." The UAE Space Agency firmly believe that research and development around deep space exploration will directly lead to long-term solutions for many of the most pressing issues. Last year, the UAE revealed its most ambitious long-term plan to date - Mars 2117. This is our national objective to establish a human settlement on Mars over the next century, and it will require the research and development of advanced solutions to agriculture, clean water collection and energy supplies in an otherwise inhospitable environment. UAESG globally addressing space sector solutions to some of the environmental goals: "Globally, earth observation and remote sensing applications of satellite technologies have highlighted issues related to life below water and life on land - both goals of the 2030 Agenda. For example, undergraduate students in the UAE are currently in the process of building a CubeSat that will monitor our coastal shores to identify algal blooms and determine necessary responses." An example of an international Conference is the UNISPACE +50 held in last June 2018 which brought together policy-makers, business leaders and academic experts from the global space sector to discuss areas for collaboration, including developing and adopting resolutions that will guide policies and joint action frameworks for years to come. The role of space in education is also an important pillar here, especially when taking part in a youth space developments and empowerment in the changing space environment.
