Si lo venís a buscar, es tuyo! (If you come to look for it, it’s yours), It is a community of collaborative economy, a space where we can give away what we no longer use in a simple and safe way.
The project was inaugurated in January 2016 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Since then, 57 thousand people joined the community and more than 72 thousand articles found a new owner. Currently, around 2,500 free objects and services are offered each month.
By giving away what we no longer use, we begin a cycle of positive events: we release space at home, we extend the useful life of the objects, we reduce waste and we connect with other people to form a chain of circulation of goods.
This project has the support of the Municipality of Montevideo, the National Research and Innovation Agency (ANII) and the Sinergia Incubator.
