Development of PC based Color Code System


Description

This project describes the development of multi colored code. The main objective is to develop a code which has higher data capacity than the current QR code. The multi colored code employs Reed Solomon correction algorithm and color multiplexing technique. These colors involved are red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow, white and black. Few image processing techniques that involved in the decoder application are also designed in order to process and decode the captured multi colored code. As result, the developed code is able has three times of the data capacity more than QR code with similar module size.
