Information about the project
Dubai City Concierge – Rashid: An intelligent concierge for your city needs in Dubai
City concierge is an interactive intelligent assistant for fulfilling various city needs in Dubai via natural language processing for residents, businesses and visitors (tourists). It is an adaptive learning system based on inquiries from its users and aims to ease the lives of users by answering normal human language inquiries. It uses cognitive computing. The initial pilot of the Dubai city concierge was implemented as part of Dubai’s citywide services app, called DubaiNow, to address various needs of entrepreneurs in starting a business. It assists them by addressing entrepreneurs’ inquiries in terms of regulations and requirements for starting a business in a question and answer manner. Different business types may require different requirements, regulations and approvals and the city concierge provides appropriate guidance according to particular needs of entrepreneurs. City concierge is currently being extended to meet various needs of Dubai residents and visitors. It assists them in providing personalized information and will also conduct their city transactions through natural language interaction regarding mobility, health, education, social services, etc. It will contribute significantly to enhancing Dubai city experiences and will contribute to Dubai’s vision of becoming the happiest city on Earth.
