This event commenced on May 10th with an opening event as girls from high schools from the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria were encouraged to post STEM related articles on given topics in the area of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, internet of things in line with the theme of the year. Submissions were received in a span of a week as they worked alongside seasoned mentors and judges carved from the space industry. We believe this event has developed their critical reasoning and improved their writing skills and also enhanced their ability to work in teams. The event came to a close today with a closing ceremony as they got graded on their final presentation this morning.
