Description of the event
The Spanish Secretary of State and Broadband Commissioner Mr. Roberto Sanchez launched an initiative to enhance the visibility of the work of the women at the Secretariat in order to serve as role models for girls in ICT in Spain. This initiative was coordinated with the ITU Youth Summit and Network of Women and was aimed to result in a number of concrete actions to raise awareness among girls on the important role women play in telecommunications/ICTs .
