Description of the event
|
The idea of this workshop is to show the development of cryptography, from it's beginnings to the present day, and to describe some of the well-known cipher systems, in addition to the theoretical ones. The emphasis is on encrypting and decrypting messages, without much insight into cryptanalysis and the reasons why passwords are secure or unsafe. In short, several historical situations, in which cryptography has played a very important role, will be described for you.Within their classroom created at Khan Academy, students will be introduced to the concept of cryptography. They can hear short videos about the encryption and decryption of messages throughout history, problems with the transmission of secret messages, keys, etc., to solve tests, and have the opportunity to re-access the material.
