Description of the event
|
1. To organize series of events in April and May to increase the awareness amongst young female students at secondary schools and universities on the importance of accessing the web/social media, safely and responsibly through series of webinars and bootcamp.2. The webinar sessions is for female school students and will discuss on digital etiquettes (the importance of demonstrating responsible behavior online) as well as basic digital security & privacy (elevating precautions to the female participants to promote their safety online)3. The finale of the Axiata’s Girls in ICT initiative is when we run a bootcamp-style event from 23rd to 27th May 2022 for female undergraduates at universities where we provide skills and knowledge on the application of digital technologies, in the context of “Access and Safety” for the users. The participants will be tasked to apply technology in their solutioning of the final presentation to the panel of judges. All participants will be getting their certificate of participation from KKMM and Axiata and the top performer will be awarded a work exposure experience at Axiata Corporate Centre
