Description of the event
|
The main objectives of the “ICT FOR GIRLS FROM LOCAL TO GLOBAL” will be a virtual event through our networking and women empowerment component, in which we American International Education Federation (AMIEF), Community Development Foundation (CDF), and Global Women Development Network (GWDN) are going to engage 25+ countries, connect with more than 100+ women leaders as well as their countries' representatives to engage women and girls in ICT FOR GIRLS for their careers.Women worldwide want and deserve an equal future free from stigma, stereotypes and violence, a life with dignity, peace and equal opportunities and the latest technologies can enhance the overall performance in this regard.It offers an opportunity to reflect on the progress, call for change and to celebrate courage and determination acts by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities with the use of IT/ICT and high-tech.In the light of the previous year’s group of like-minded women leaders from 17+ countries participated and communicated that women are the leaders in almost every field of life; in processes for economic development, through ICT in Rural.
