Having an economic background and many years of experience in international cooperation, her interests and areas of work included different fields, such as international youth work and environmental protection.

Ms Stepanyan started her career in PSRC of RA in 2016 and currently as Chief Specialist of Telecommunication Department is dealing with various issues connected to the development օf telecom sector in Armenia.

At the same time Ms Stepanyan is the Co-Chair of Independence of Regulators and Broadband Expert Working Group (IRB EWG) of Easter Partnership Electronic Communications Regulators Network (EaPeReg) which is working on the assessment of EU MS best practices and facilitation of their proper implementation in the EaP countries, focusing on the priorities related to the independence of the NRAs and broadband development.
