Guido Gluschke is one of the directors of the Institute for Security and Safety (ISS) at the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany, where he teaches in the field of nuclear and cyber security. Serving also as the university's Program Manager on Nuclear and Cyber Security, he is responsible for joint projects with international organizations.
Mr. Gluschke's main areas of expertise are information technology and cyber security, especially in the energy context. He holds a Master of Science in Security Management from the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences and a diploma in Computer Science from the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences. Mr. Gluschke is an expert in cyber security in the nuclear context and is a member of NTI's cyber expert group, a member of USEA cyber expert group and a member of the steering committee of nuclear cyber security projects at Chatham House as well as nuclear security advisor for cyber security exercises at Guardtime, Estonia. He was also a member of the Energy Expert Cyber Security Platform - Expert Group of the European Commission Directorate Generale Energy.
Mr Gluschke was responsible for four international Professional Development Courses on nuclear cyber security, hold in Brandenburg and funded by the IAEA, and for an Advanced Training Course on cyber security in the energy sector, hold in Kiev, Ukraine, funded by the NATO. He was also part of the implementation of the Master in Nuclear Security at the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences which was funded by the IAEA.
