A high level panel was organized, as a part of the official Summit program, to provide Summit participants with a dynamic forum for discussion and debate on the overarching theme: “ICT for Development”. It was held on the first day of the Summit, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 from 18:00 to 20:00, in parallel with the third plenary meeting.

The high level panel was open to Summit participants. Interpretation was provided in the six official languages of the Summit: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
