Synergy between regional and sub-regional initiatives and projects is needed. The existing regional priority areas are still valid, the updated and appropriate activities for 2022-2025 are to be planned considering the impact of COVID -19, in order to achieve the digital transformation, through better broadband connectivity including 5G rollout, development of digital skills, adoption of the policies for digital inclusion, establish the regulatory environment for new technology developments etc.
