Abstract :

At the 2017 Session, the Council requested that that the Ethics Office report yearly on its activities, as is consistent with many UN organizations. The Ethics Office presented its 2017 Report at the 2018 Session of Council (C18/52).
The secretariat confirmed its commitment to maintaining a strong Ethics function and to building upon these important achievements.
Since the Ethics Officer position was vacant from end of April 2018 to end of May 2019, the new Ethics Officer gave an oral report to Council 2019 on the Ethics Office's activities in 2018 and outlined the its key areas of work for 2019.
