Abstract :	Summary The UN General Assembly adopted Resolution 70/244, in December 2015, by which it endorsed the ICSC's recommendations on the new compensation package for staff in the professional and higher categories, to be gradually implemented between July 2016 and January 2018, taking into account the acquired rights of serving staff.
