Abstract :

Summary
This report provides a brief summary of the post-2015 development framework and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and identifies the references to information and communication technologies in the new agenda, their strategic importance as a means of implementation, and implications for the work and role of ITU in the implementation, follow-up, and review.
A proposed draft Resolution on "Mainstreaming the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the work of the ITU", including a draft Roadmap of ITU actions related to the SDGs is introduced in Annex to the report.
