- The 2022 edition of ITU Facts and Figures estimates that 2.7 billion people – or one-third of the world’s population – remain offline in 2022.
- The Universal and Meaningful Connectivity Baseline and Targets for 2030 was launched in collaboration with the Office of the UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Technology. The 15 aspirational targets prioritize universality, technology and affordability to ensure that everyone can fully benefit from connectivity.
- The ITU Data Hub launched in April is the world’s richest source of ICT statistics and regulatory information. It allows users to compare and download data for nearly 200 economies.
