A Webinar of Digital Skills Assessment: Preparing for current and future digital society in Asia and the Pacific presented global trends in capacity development and gave a comprehensive overview of ITU’s Digital Skills Assessment Guidebook. The event was the steppingstone for a joint initiative between ITU and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to support digital skills among migrant workers in Thailand.
The first Interregional Meeting for Asia-Pacific and CIS, part of 2021 Global Cyberdrill, discussed the current threat environment related to Cyber Resilience and Protecting Critical information infrastructure.
A total of 36,992 participants, including 70% female participants, from Asia and the Pacific were trained under the Digital Transformation Center initiative.
