ABOUT

The Forum and technical training on Cybersecurity for the Caribbean was organized at the kind invitation of the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Tourism of Surinam and will take place from 3 until 7 July, 2017 in Paramaribo, Surinam.

The organizers were pleased to invite governments, institutions, and/or national CIRT/CERT to participate with technicians on cybersecurity and one at least one (1) representative at manager level.

PURPOSE

The event counted with technical training sessions offered by international experts plus forums for discussion. The forums for discussions were oriented towards cybersecurity regional perspectives for the Caribbean where will be gathered viewpoints of the government, of the industry, of the academia, and of different stakeholders as the critical infrastructure and service providers.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Government representatives, institutions, and/or national CIRT/CERT to participate with technicians on cybersecurity and one at least one (1) representative at manager level from all Caribbean Countries.
