The Ministry of Transport, Tourism and Telecommunications in Suriname was the strength behind the project in the country. The latter-mentioned Ministry, in collaboration with other ministries, the regulatory authorities and telecom providers decided to bring girls in their last years of secondary school to Innovation lab at the University of Suriname for a session where they met with professional women working in the ICT sector who presented a motivational speech and after that engaged the girls in a hands-on session at the innovation lab.
