Founder of The Afrolutionist and member of ITU Generation Connect Visionaries Board 

Mmabatho Motsamai is a development practitioner who believes in inclusive governance. Her work encompasses project coordination, research and advocacy. 

Adopting SDG17, Motsamai is the founder of The Afrolutionist, a digital institution that enhances critical discussions and projects on inclusive development in Africa. She has also been engaged in various global projects including research co-coordination with UNU-IIGH and co-facilitated the first policy hackathon in Botswana. 

She is the co-founder of the Botswana Youth Jobs Fair, an annual fair that stimulates real-time job readiness training and employment activity through multi-stakeholder engagement. She has previously served as a key correspondent for the Positive Vibes KPREACH program and A FRIDA (Young Feminist Fund) Climate Justice Story Collector and the national coordinator of the Breaking Bounds Consortium. 

A Bosch Alumni, Motsamai is also an Anzisha Media Finalist (2016), and a current board member of the Botswana National Youth Council, Akina Mama Wa Afrika, ITU Generation Connect Youth Visionaries board, an AFR100 Youth Ambassador and recognized in MIPAD 100 as one of the most influential persons of African Descent (2020).
