Taehyoung Shim received his BS and PhD degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, in 2008 and 2016, respectively. Since 2016, he worked for the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), where he is currently a senior researcher. He developed international standards including ITU-T Y.4119 and ITU-T Y.4468, as well as several domestic standards ITSK-00106-4, ITSK-00106-6, TTAK.KO-10.0985, and TTAK.KO-10.1043 for automotive emergency response system (AERS). His research interests include automotive and electrical safety technologies.
