Dear Sir/Madam,
Following the kind invitation of the Government of Canada and according to
Resolution 77 (Minneapolis, 1998) I have the honour to inform
you that the forthcoming World Telecommunication Standardization
Assembly (WTSA-2000) will take place in Montreal from 27
September to 6 October 2000.
I have great pleasure in hereby inviting your Government to send a delegation
to WTSA-2000.
Member States are informed that this invitation is also being sent to Members of
the Telecommunication Standardization Sector as well as all
concerned organizations and institutions according to Article 25
of the Convention of the International Telecommunication Union.
By separate letter you will receive the relevant Circular of the
Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB) containing
information on the organization and arrangements of the
above-mentioned Assembly.
